The Club Code

Community Guidelines

One board. Every country. A shared love of backgammon. Help us build a club where everyone can play, learn and feel welcome.

Competitive at the board. Respectful everywhere.

Great matches bring people together. These guidelines apply to players, guests, profiles, public chat, messages, and other community features.

1. Respect Every Player

Everyone is welcome, regardless of country, nationality, language, background or skill level.

  • Be courteous in victories and defeats.
  • No bullying, threats, harassment, hateful language or discrimination.
  • Friendly competition is encouraged; personal attacks are not.

2. Play Fair

Winning should come from your decisions and your dice, not from unfair advantages.

  • No cheating, bots, unauthorized assistance or exploiting bugs.
  • No manipulating results, rankings, or accounts to gain points.
  • Report vulnerabilities privately instead of abusing or sharing them.

3. Keep Chat Welcoming

Our public conversations should feel like a friendly table at a local club.

  • No spam, repeated advertisements, scams or malicious links.
  • Avoid explicit, abusive or deliberately disruptive content.
  • Respect different languages and cultures; disagreements are fine, hostility is not.

4. Protect Privacy

Share only what you are comfortable making visible to others.

  • Do not post anyone else's personal information without permission.
  • Do not impersonate other players or misrepresent your identity.
  • Remember that public chat and public profiles can be seen by other people.

5. Report Problems Responsibly

If someone breaks the club rules, use the available reporting feature.

  • Provide accurate information about the problem.
  • Do not file false or retaliatory reports.
  • Avoid public arguments or harassment over a reported incident.

6. Moderation & Consequences

When necessary, the club may act to protect fair play and the community.

  • Actions may include warnings, content removal, restrictions, suspension or bans.
  • Serious or repeated violations may lead to permanent account bans.
  • Reports and available conversation records may be reviewed when investigating incidents.
